If you go by those criteria, you have an award winner here in Lithuania. Lithuania has a history, it could very well boast of. The country is situated on the Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. The cuisine here has an influence of rest of the Eastern Europe. The food is rich with barley, rye, beets, mushrooms, potatoes and dairy products. Lithuania is popular and proud of its food. Their way of preparing food helps retain the goodness of the ingredients while giving it a taste to savor. It is good to live here for some time and binge on the Lithuanian cuisine.

Alytus

Many visitors have called Alytus the phoenix city of the country. It has been through a lot and very time the city has come off stronger than before. It has faced so many adversities and has risen from the ashes time and again. It is a good experience to be here for some time while you visit the country. The city is alive, exciting and quite at the same time. The city is one of the favorites on every visitor’s list.


Utena

The city is the oldest settlement of Lithuania. It is an industrial city and the urban side of the country is revealed to the visitors of the city. The best time to be here is the last week of September because that is the time when the anniversary of the city is celebrated. The celebration lasts one full week every year. Utena is a recreational centre as the city has almost been remodeled and structured recently. Now, it is a major tourist attraction of the country.


Jonava

The city of Jonava is known as the capital city of midsummer holidays and is an attraction to all those who are a bit into sports. The city has always been a popular communication city for the country. Well, also the city is building a huge indoor arena besides the one that it already has.


Her cities as well, which have a lot to offer. The country as a whole looks like a color palette with all the possible colors of tourism added to it. There is the town of Visaginas with its pine forests. There is the cucumber capital of the country, Kėdainiai and there is Ukmerge, the cool, calm and quiet city of the country.
